My team and I were lucky enough to have the opportunity to work on the marketing efforts for Hulu's absurd original series, Future Man. Scripting and producing special shoot concepts, creating gleefully bizarre social content, trolling our own fans and followers... this campaign was a playground for the weirdest ideas we could come up with.

Future Man Season 2 Is About...

To get fans heads spinning in anticipation for the mind-fuckery of Future Man’s sophomore season, we asked the cast a very simple question– What’s Season 2 about? Each of them gave a series of one-word answers with zero context. It’s about nut allergies. LIttle Boy Blew. Holograms. Bunnies. Beans. Sewing. Wheels. Drew Barrymore’s character in 50 First Dates.

Never fear internet viewer, we made up a Jeopardy-style game that's sure to get you up to speed. For the sake of humanity we hoped it was horribly obvious these key plot points belonged to Future Man.

Visions of the Future

Channeling the scientific wonder of Neil Degrasse Tyson and the cookooness of that guy from Ancient Aliens, we shot and produced these short videos of Haley Joel Osment as the present-day Stu Camillo sharing visions of the future.

Because our characters have all seen the future, they know a lot of things we don’t. Even strangely specific things like whether or not you achieved your New Year’s resolution. With this in mind, we created a bank of character responses to common New Year’s resolutions to use as reactive across social media.

We found that across social media a lot of women were sending messages to their “future man.” We couldn’t resist. We took reactive to the next level responding from the official show account and announcing to these unsuspecting women that their Future Man had arrived.
