Ole Smoky Moonshine

For Ole Smoky Moonshine, our task was to help create awareness for the product and its unique category through an always-on social content strategy.

 

To do so, we first had to educate people how moonshine (a relatively unknown category) can be consumed. Second, shake the throat-burning, backwoods stigma the spirit had earned during its prohibition days. And finally, tell the stories of the jar-equipped instigators that carry our shine.

Every great night has that one spark, that one individual who ignites the idea that “tonight is going to be a great night.” With a jar of Ole Smoky, that person is you. In six topically released OLVs, we highlighted the moments of the instigator's arrival in a series dubbed The House of Ole Smoky

Rethinking Cocktail Recipes

Moonshine drinkers aren't mixologists, and that's perfectly fine. Simple recipes paired with relatable situations where one might kill for a drink proved to be way more relevant than the frilly, pinterest-y cocktail recipes.

"It'll make you go blind... it's made in bathtubs..." moonshine has a history of myths that have followed it around for a long time. Thankfully it also has an attitude that really doesn't give a damn. In this content series we were able to poke fun at some of the rumors and troll the haters.
